Terms of sale

These terms cover purchases from JuniorRoute Kits, the hardware store run by JuniorRoute. Our general terms of service and privacy policy also apply.

1. Who can buy

You must be at least 13 years old to buy from JuniorRoute Kits. If you are under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission before you buy, and by checking out you confirm you have it. A parent or guardian may contact us at hello@juniorroute.com about any order placed by their child.

2. Prices and payment

Prices are in US dollars and set when you check out. Payment is processed securely by Stripe; we never see your full card number. Sales tax is calculated at checkout based on your shipping address. If a price is listed in error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.

3. Orders and stock

Placing items in your cart doesn't reserve them. Stock is held for you while your checkout is open. If we can't fill an order, we'll cancel it and refund you in full.

4. Shipping

We ship within the United States only. See the shipping policy for rates and timing. Risk of loss passes to you on delivery to the carrier's confirmed address.

6. Safety

Kits contain small parts, electronic components and, in some kits, tools such as soldering irons that get hot. They are meant for learners 13 and older. Students under 18 should use them with an adult nearby, follow the included instructions, and use eye protection when soldering or cutting. Keep small parts away from young children and pets.

7. Warranty

If a part is defective on arrival, we'll replace it. Otherwise, to the extent permitted by law, kits are provided “as is”, and our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the order.
